The Computer Science Department of Adamson University traces its roots from the year 1990 when Prof. Elsa Gerardo of the Mathematics Department headed its pioneer faculty members and students.

The office was formerly located at the G/F St. Theresa Building (now the office of the Human Resource Department). Faculty members throughout that time were joined together with the faculty members of the Mathematics Department. In a short period of time, the population of the students taking up the course Bachelor of Science in Computer Science rose dramatically.

Adamson University, a Catholic, Vincentian educational institution, is a recognized leading center for quality education particularly for the socially disadvantaged.

The Adamson University Computer Science website (http://www.adamsoncompsci.com) has made this a realization. It’s a product of the web team’s imaginative constructions and their intricately detailed designs in web development. The official CS Webteam was only recently put together on July 27, 2007(?). Although the website had already been launched back in February 2007 there were actually only a little over a couple of people behind it. Well now, we have reorganized, and revitalized the team along with its retained contributors and its freshest additions.

This is a team fired up with presentations they all have in store for our dearest site visitors. With the site and the team all set, making connections thru the World Wide Web could only get better. And we call upon the CompSci Society and the Alumni to come together and explore the space where we’re linked together keeping you up-to-date on happenings and events that transpire in our own little exclusive world. This is where we can seek an outlet of artful and artistic expressions that can only promote the passion we have for our craft.
